I attempted to check a capacitor and seemed to work (adjustment changed meter, etc and I got a reading of 10 mf for a 20 mf capacitor – but unsure of the actual operation – does power up etc

The brushes are labeled  “DSK 42/8″ and made by American Bosch

Box has a label of 6/55 so I am assuming June 1955

Thickness is .315″

Width 1.10″

Height 1.0″

With a step dimension of .945″

the brush I checked has “1307″ in the brush – weather all have this in them I am not sure

Material is unknown to me — they are not a “chalky black” but  have a rather a “bronzy” look to them

Now you can restore and repair your Beseler 45MX II Enlarger

Part Number and description are how they are listed in the instruction manual that came with the enlarger – We will call them by that name and number as printed

Parts may fit other Beseler enlargers etc – Sorry but I can not help on those interchanges – also variations due to serial we are not aware of

This is a Negative Carrier for the 45 Series Enlargers.

I believe  this is Beseler stock number 8340 but not positive

The Beseler Negaflat is a  negative carrier that  stretches the film with a flip of a lever and holds it flat without glass.

5R44E were used in 1997 – 2009 4.0 Ranger , 97 Aerostar, 1997 – 2001 Explorer, 01-05 Explorer Sport / Trac
